Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing all nursing services in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care center. The DON ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and efficient clinical operations. Requirements
- An active MN RN license
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, OBRA guidelines, and state long-term care requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation systems.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred; master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration is a plus.
