Director of Nursing | RN or LPN
About The Position
Thomas Grove Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) who is dedicated and compassionate. Tutera Senior Living & Health Care supports its Nurse Leaders with a superior DON mentorship program, tuition reimbursement, a network of professionals for assistance, and a 5-Star DON Orientation Program. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician's orders and the total needs of the residents. This includes 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services, directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care, and assuming responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing.
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
