About The Position

Earlham College is seeking a Director of Nursing to provide visionary leadership for its new Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. This program is a 1+2+1 partnership with Ivy Tech Community College, combining rigorous nursing preparation with Earlham’s liberal arts foundation. Ivy Tech will manage nursing program accreditation, the ASN degree, and NCLEX preparation, while Earlham will confer the BSN degree and offer advanced nursing and health coursework, academic advising, and a values-driven community focused on ethical practice, equity, and social justice in healthcare. The Director will work with the Associate Dean of the Natural Sciences Division and the Director of the Center for Global Health, serving as the academic and administrative leader for the BSN program at Earlham. Key responsibilities include shaping the vision for BSN education in a liberal arts context, leading the design, implementation, accreditation efforts, and assessment of Earlham's BSN curriculum components, building and stewarding the partnership with Ivy Tech and other external partners, playing a central role in recruiting, enrolling, and retaining a diverse student cohort, and representing nursing within the College and to external constituencies. This is a full-time administrative appointment.
