About The Position

The Pines at Bristol, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing Services (RN). This is a leadership role responsible for the nursing department at a recently renovated, 132-bed skilled nursing center. The center has a strong track record of survey results, stable staffing, and a positive, collaborative environment, supported by regional corporate clinical support. The Director of Nursing will provide strategic leadership, foster excellence and innovation in nursing care, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective healthcare with positive clinical outcomes and high resident and employee satisfaction. This role has 24-hour accountability.

Requirements

  • Valid state RN nursing license
  • Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery
  • Visionary mindset with a focus on innovation and quality improvement
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in a senior nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care or similar healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
