About The Position
The Director of Nursing (DON) supervises staff, facilitates interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings, and informs staff of new policies and procedures. The DON is responsible for recruiting, retaining, and training nurses and other clinical staff, and provides overall direction and guidance for all patient care services.
Requirements
- Licensed RN in the State of Texas.
- At least 1 year of experience as an RN with management experience.
- A BSN degree or five years of equivalent management experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Clean background and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hospice or home health.
Responsibilities
