A skilled nursing facility in Vallejo is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations and oversee the nursing department. Requirements
- Active California RN license required
- Prior experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of SNF regulations and compliance standards
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage clinical operations effectively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing operations within the facility
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory guidelines
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff
- Monitor quality assurance and clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with administration and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain survey readiness and implement corrective action plans as needed
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows
- Promote a positive and patient-centered care environment
