About The Position

The Kidz Club PPEC is seeking an experienced RN leader for the role of Site Director of Nursing (SDON). This position involves leading and supporting a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, championing quality care for children and families, and creating a supportive environment. Unlike a hospital setting, this role allows for building long-term relationships with families and supporting children's growth and development. The position is Monday through Friday with no nights, weekends, or major holidays, offering consistent hours and meaningful work. The Director of Nursing oversees the day-to-day clinical operations of the facility, including staff supervision, care plan coordination, family advocacy, and ensuring individualized attention for each child. They will work within a multidisciplinary model, coordinating with physicians, therapists, specialists, and community resources. The role also involves being a key leader within The Kidz Club network, focusing on team development through in-service training, quality assurance, and fostering a culture of excellence and compassion. The leadership team consists of a Director of Nursing and a Center Administrator who partner to ensure exceptional care and a positive environment.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of the designated facility (NLC accepted where applicable)
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
• At least 6 months of experience in a PICU, NICU, or PPEC setting
• Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current BLS/CPR certification and TB test
• Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities
