About The Position

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for Settler's Grove Senior Living. This role is responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents, ensuring quality standards of care are maintained. The DON will oversee Nursing Services for 24 hours and may assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator. The company emphasizes a culture of learning and provides a strong mentorship program, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive orientation for its Nurse Leaders.

Requirements

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state in which you are practicing.
Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.

Responsibilities

Administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician's orders and the total needs of the residents.
24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
Directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
Assuming responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
