This position is onsite in Mitchell, South Dakota. This role is about much more than compliance and clinical oversight. Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for residents-centered care and team development
  • Applicants must successfully complete all required screenings, including TB testing, in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee nursing services across Assisted Living and Memory Care
  • Ensure safe, ethical, person-centered care that honors each resident's unique needs
  • Guide assessments, care planning, medication management, and clinical oversight
  • Support innovative, evidence-based care practices
  • Champion memory care approaches that promote dignity, comfort, and meaningful engagement
  • Partner with Life Enrichment, Culinary, and Operations teams
  • Foster opportunities for connection, purpose, and joy
  • Support dining experiences that enhance wellness, independence, and quality of life
  • Help residents engage fully in the activities and relationships that matter most
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and support nursing staff
  • Build a culture rooted in compassion, accountability, and teamwork
  • Promote professional growth and employee engagement
  • Ensure team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local regulations
  • Lead survey readiness efforts with confidence
  • Oversee infection prevention, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives
  • Continuously improve safety, outcomes, and resident satisfaction
  • Serve as a clinical resource for residents, families, providers, and community partners
  • Collaborate with operational leadership on staffing, budgeting, and strategic goals
  • Support community growth through exceptional resident and family experiences
