Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current Florida RN license required.
Minimum of 1 year in nursing management and leadership.
CPR certification required.
Experience in pediatrics, especially with medically fragile children, is essential.
Strong communication skills and knowledge of community resources.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor�s Degree preferred.
PALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee the case management of all children admitted for Day Health Center-Based Services.
Ensure the safe delivery of services aligned with PHC�s mission and standards, working closely with the Center Administrator.
Establish strong relationships with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Manage staffing patterns to meet clinical needs.
Assume the �Acting Administrator� role in the absence of the Center Administrator.
Assist in administrative duties and case management.
Coordinate daily clinical activities and respond to emergency situations.
Manage staff schedules and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
Collaborate with admissions for effective patient management.
Develop comprehensive care plans and coordinate services with other providers.
Lead family education initiatives to enhance care confidence.
Participate in staff training and development programs.
Monitor quality assurance and improvement processes.
Help manage the center�s budget and operational reports.
Engage in on-call rotations and clinical evaluations.
