About The Position

The Pines at Bristol, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing Services (RN). This role involves leading the nursing department at a 132-bed skilled nursing center with a strong management team. The center has a high daily census, significant admissions, and a good survey history. It is a union-free center with stable staffing, a positive environment, and regional corporate clinical support. The Director of Nursing will provide strategic leadership, set goals, foster excellence and innovation in nursing care, and shape the facility's culture. This position has 24-hour accountability for delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient/resident and employee satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Valid state RN nursing license
  • Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery
  • Visionary mindset with a focus on innovation and quality improvement
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or certification preferred
  • Experience in a senior nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care or similar healthcare setting preferred
