Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with active NY license
  • Proven nursing leadership experience in a SNF or healthcare setting
  • Strong background in staff development, team building, and clinical operations
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and survey processes
  • A leader who is decisive, accountable, and people-focused
  • Someone who can balance clinical excellence with operational realities
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level

Responsibilities

  • Full oversight of nursing operations, staffing, and scheduling strategy
  • Development of strong, accountable nursing leadership (ADONs, Supervisors, Unit Managers)
  • Clinical quality, compliance, and regulatory readiness
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration across physicians, pharmacy, and care teams
  • Orientation, training, and ongoing staff development programs
  • Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
  • Build and maintain a high-performing, engaged nursing team
  • Drive clinical excellence, documentation accuracy, and care planning standards
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness
  • Partner with leadership to improve retention, reduce agency reliance, and strengthen staffing stability
  • Serve as a visible, hands-on leader supporting staff and residents
