Director of Nursing - Urgent Care (RN)
About The Position
Health CARE Express is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN), preferably with prior nursing leadership experience, to oversee nursing operations across our urgent care clinics and guide a team of approximately 40 LVNs and Medical Assistants. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys building strong teams, improving training and consistency, solving staffing challenges, developing schedules, and creating an environment where people can do their best work. Be a part of a company that values leadership with a full day of leadership training every two months for training and developing skills that can be used personally and professionally. You'll have direct access to physician and executive leadership with the opportunity to shape clinical operations across the organization. While this is a leadership role, you'll also be expected to step in and work clinical shifts when needed to support your team.
Requirements
- Experienced Registered Nurse (RN)
- Prior nursing leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing operations across multiple clinic locations.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain nursing staff.
- Develop and maintain staffing schedules while ensuring adequate clinic coverage.
- Create, implement, and enforce nursing policies and procedures.
- Train, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
- Develop educational materials and standardized training programs.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and applicable state regulations.
- Conduct routine clinic visits to evaluate workflow, quality, and adherence to company standards.
- Collaborate with providers, clinic managers, and executive leadership to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
- Responsible for our X-ray team.
- Assist with staffing shortages by working clinical shifts when needed.
- Travel regularly between clinic locations to support operations and staff.
