About The Position

Director of Nursing (RN) opportunity with Stonebrooke Rehab. We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing who brings exceptional leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a standout work history in long-term care or post-acute healthcare. Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Director of Nursing in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care
  • Demonstrated history of strong survey outcomes and clinical leadership success
  • Stable and progressive work history showing leadership growth and commitment
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and retain high-performing nursing teams
  • Strong understanding of state and federal regulations, compliance standards, and reimbursement systems
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all nursing operations within the community
  • Ensure delivery of exceptional resident care and clinical outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing leadership and clinical staff
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident satisfaction and quality measures
  • Monitor staffing, budgets, infection prevention, and clinical systems
  • Prepare for and successfully manage state surveys and audits
  • Foster a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and compassion
