About The Position

The Director of Nursing Intermediate Care will be responsible for developing departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements. This role will direct clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management. The Director will also plan, organize, and direct all staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education. Additionally, they will prepare and monitor budgets to ensure the assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds and coordinate and direct internal and externally-driven audits.

Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
5 years of experience required.
2 years of leadership or management experience required.

Nice To Haves

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Master's degree preferred.
10 years of experience preferred.
5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Critical Care background strongly preferred

Responsibilities
