About The Position

This Director of Emergency Services role oversees operations across two emergency departments located across the street from one another in Albuquerque — a 21-bed emergency department a separate 7-bed emergency department. Together, the departments operate under one license and share a combined team of approximately 55–60 FTEs who float between both locations to support seamless patient care and throughput. The Director is responsible for the overall operations, quality, patient flow, employee engagement, and leadership of both departments while partnering closely with Behavioral Health, Med-Surg, ICU, and other hospital leaders. The hiring leader is looking for a seasoned ED leader who is visible, approachable, and invested in building strong relationships with staff. One of the biggest priorities is finding someone who can create stability, communicate effectively, follow through on commitments, and help strengthen the culture within the department. Ideally, we're looking for someone with Emergency Department leadership experience who enjoys developing people, driving accountability, and leading operational improvements.
