Requirements

• Leadership experience in nursing administration.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission and State regulations.
• Understanding of clinical nursing practice.
• Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate policies, programs, and services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and directs the patient care and management activities in the Patient Care Services Division within the guidelines of the Joint Commission and State regulations.
• Achieves and maintains competent services with goals consistent with those of UC Health and Patient Care Services.
• Accountable for the clinical practice of nursing.
• Provides leadership to Patient Care Services.
• Ensures the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the institution's mission, goals, and objectives.
