About The Position

Will drive to increase company revenue by identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies. This role acts as the main interface with customers, building solid relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams. The Director of MRO Sales will work with the Director of MRO to ensure customer schedules and expectations are met. This position involves executing or assisting in the preparation and execution of copies of contracts and subcontracts, including exhibits and attachments, and ensuring all contract and subcontract auxiliary documents, such as insurance certificates and bonds, are provided. The role also manages the change order process, including determining the need for change orders, negotiating, drafting, and securing signatures on change orders. Participation in meetings related to contract formation and performance, as well as marketing conferences and industry events, is expected. The role requires developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities, directing marketing efforts by presenting market research to MRO directors and suggesting strategies to expand market research, and assessing marketing, sales, supplier, and vendor operations, recommending improvements as needed. Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs), researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to satisfy customer needs, and developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow businesses are key responsibilities. The Director will also present business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–10 years of proven experience selling aviation-related products or services.
  • Demonstrated customer service, business development, sales, and marketing experience, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities
