About The Position

Join Primrose Retirement Communities as a Director of Memory Care and make a difference every day. This role involves leading the memory care unit, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care for residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. You will be responsible for team leadership, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance within the memory care setting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, healthcare, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, and person-centered care practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coach employees, and drive operational excellence.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living and Memory Care regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing budgets, expenses, and departmental performance.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with residents, families, team members, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn EHR and other healthcare software systems.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, human services, gerontology, business, or a related field.
• Meets or has the ability to meet applicable state qualification requirements for Assisted Living Executive Directors.
