About The Position

Willow Towers Assisted Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Memory Care to lead our specialized Memory Care Neighborhood. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring exceptional resident care, developing meaningful life enrichment programming, supporting families, and leading a dedicated team committed to providing person-centered care for individuals living with dementia. Our Memory Care neighborhood is home to 24 residents with a capacity of 30 residents, allowing for individualized care in a close-knit environment. With a 6:1 staffing ratio, our team is equipped to meet the unique needs of a cognitively impaired and physically frail population while maintaining a high standard of care.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Previous supervisory or management experience
At least one year of experience in long-term care or assisted living
Compassionate, organized leader with excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and a passion for enriching the lives of seniors living with memory impairment

Prior assisted living and/or memory care leadership experience

Working closely with residents, families, physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized service plans
Coordinating meaningful programming and special events
Monitoring resident well-being
Ensuring outstanding communication and quality of care throughout the neighborhood
