About The Position

Xtend is seeking a strategic, innovative, and client-focused Director of Member Marketing to lead its Communications and Data Analytics teams. This role involves building and growing a full-service marketing agency focused on helping credit unions strengthen member relationships through data-driven marketing, digital strategy, and measurable results. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-performing teams, developing innovative marketing services, and partnering with clients to achieve their business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5–7 years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years leading teams, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
  • Experience managing marketing operations, client service delivery, or agency-style marketing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including email marketing, paid advertising, SEO, content strategy, social media, marketing automation, and website optimization.
  • Experience with marketing analytics and reporting platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated success implementing AI and automation to improve marketing performance and operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and service-line profitability.

  • Experience within the credit union or financial services industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Xtend's Communications and Data Analytics teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Define the vision and strategy for member marketing services delivered to credit unions nationwide.
  • Expand Xtend's marketing capabilities across digital channels, including email marketing, paid media, social media, content marketing, SEO, and marketing automation.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality marketing campaigns and analytics that produce measurable business results for clients.
  • Build scalable processes, operational standards, and workflows that support continued growth.
  • Partner directly with credit union executives as a trusted advisor on marketing strategy, branding, member engagement, and performance measurement.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, automation tools, and AI solutions to improve marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and financial performance for the Communications and Data Analytics business lines.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and introduce new service offerings.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives across the organization.
