About The Position

The Director of Medical Support-RN is responsible for managing the overall operation of the center under the supervision of the Medical Director. This role ensures that center staff adhere to Patient First policies and procedures, coordinates staff work schedules, and maintains positive relationships between patients, clients, and staff. The position involves interviewing, hiring, and evaluating center staff, as well as supervising and reviewing departmental checklists. Additionally, the Director will review and coordinate the processing of all payroll, hiring, evaluation, pay change, status, budget, inventory, pharmacy, and staffing paperwork. A key aspect of this role is providing positive, warm, and friendly customer service in all interactions, fostering teamwork, and maintaining a positive, professional atmosphere. Other duties as directed will also be part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Employee must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Keyboarding experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia

Nice To Haves

  • One year of clerical experience preferred
  • One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities
