About The Position

The Director of Marketing is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the CEO. This build role defines and drives the go-to-market strategy, establishes systems that connect marketing directly to sales results, and builds company brand presence across traditional, digital, and AI-driven channels. The director contributes to strategic decisions and initially executes as an individual contributor, supported by an external marketing agency, with the mandate to shape the marketing function as it grows. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, with a one-hour lunch, though managers may approve other schedules. The work is mostly sedentary, with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, and requires frequent clear communication with team members and candidates.
