About The Position

As a key member of the Integrator Team, the Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy leads the vision, strategy, and execution of all marketing and branding efforts at 7 Leaves Cafe. This role drives comp cup growth, brand equity, and a consistent, guest-centered experience across all markets. Overseeing Branding, Marketing, and R&D, this leader works cross-functionally with Operations, Training, HR, IT, and Finance to align the brand across all touchpoints.The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and culture builder, someone who leads with heart, clarity, and creativity while living out our Core Values.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressive leadership in brand and marketing-ideally within food & beverage, hospitality, or retail.
  • Proven success translating brand vision into scalable, results-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and owning execution from strategy through launch.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, content, social media, loyalty programs, and CRM platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Strategic, people-first leader who builds trust, alignment, and team ownership.
  • Expertise in brand architecture, omnichannel marketing, and mapping the customer journey.
  • Data-informed and results-driven-translates insights into clear action plans.
  • Excellent communicator and storyteller who brings clarity, inspiration, and purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Brand & Customer Experience Leadership Define and evolve the 7 Leaves brand, ensuring our promise is consistently reflected in every guest interaction.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset by integrating real-time feedback and insights into planning and execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and Training to align field-level storytelling, visual merchandising, and menu presentation with brand strategy.
  • Uphold and reinforce our Core Values throughout all brand and customer experience touchpoints.
  • Marketing Strategy & Execution Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive comp cup growth, elevate brand equity, and foster customer loyalty across digital, in-store, and community channels.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Marketing & Branding team that thrives on creativity, ownership, and results.
  • Oversee the annual marketing calendar, aligning campaigns with business goals, promotions, and product launches.
  • Create content and partnerships that resonate with existing and emerging customer segments, with a focus on new markets and demographics.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure awareness, engagement, conversion, and retention-making data-driven decisions to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor industry and consumer trends to inform strategy and position 7 Leaves for long-term relevance and growth.
  • Product Innovation & R&D Integration Partner with R&D to identify, test, and launch new products that align with brand identity, guest expectations, and operational feasibility.
  • Manage a structured pilot and feedback loop to ensure data-backed product development.
  • Coordinate product rollouts with cohesive storytelling and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Alignment Act as a strategic thought partner in company-wide initiatives, bringing customer and field insights into executive-level planning.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage marketing budgets, forecast ROI, and assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Partner with Loyalty/CRM and IT teams to enhance digital platforms that drive guest engagement and retention.
  • Work with Operations to ensure brand consistency across the in-store experience, product offerings, and team execution.
  • Support store-level initiatives including local marketing, fundraising, and new store openings to strengthen community presence.
  • AI Innovation & Marketing Technology Leadership Lead the exploration, adoption, and integration of AI-driven marketing tools to enhance personalization, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop innovative AI-powered campaigns, content strategies, and automation systems that elevate brand storytelling and improve marketing performance.
  • Partner with IT, CRM, and Loyalty teams to implement data-driven personalization across digital platforms, leveraging predictive analytics and guest insights.
  • Establish ethical AI usage standards that align with 7 Leaves' brand values and customer trust.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging marketing technologies to position 7 Leaves as an innovative leader within the food & beverage industry.
