About The Position

Altura, LLC is a professional services firm focused on improving energy, environmental, and financial performance across all levels of our clients’ organizations. Altura has deep expertise in deriving value from building control systems, scaling from individual buildings to real estate portfolios. We leverage core skills in control system design and programming, engineering, project implementation, data analytics, commissioning, and financial analysis to identify and implement control project optimization at scale in order to achieve meaningful results for our clients. Altura is actively seeking a strategic, growth-minded Director of Marketing to help scale our impact, elevate our market presence, and build a modern demand-generation engine that aligns with our long-term business objectives.

Requirements

Minimum 7-10 years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a strategic leadership or team-management role (e.g., Director, Senior Manager)
Experience managing external creative agency resources
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
High learning agility and a proven track record of rapidly mastering complex, highly technical B2B service offerings.
Ability to quickly synthesize Altura's business model, competitive advantages, and market differentiators into high-performing growth strategies
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, including contractors/partners, service area leaders, senior leadership, and client/project managers.
Experience directing creative assets, brand standards, and media production.
Ability to manage and maximize external creative agencies, designers, and copywriters to execute high-quality materials.
Remaining focused on executing annual marketing strategies, not allowing day-to-day engagements distract from achieving our annual goals
Owning the development and execution of Altura’s marketing strategy
Meeting all deadlines and communicating proactively when this is not feasible
Working across stakeholder groups to find solutions
Leading the team to adopt marketing best practices that may be considered scary or uncomfortable

Responsibilities

Develop and execute Altura’s marketing strategy and plan and to support Trailmap goals and integration with the business plan
Steward Altura’s brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual standards, and tone across all internal and external communications.
Develop and manage the annual marketing budgets and leverage internal and external resources to build capacity and disciplined execution
Manage internal and external (agency) resources
Conduct market research to continually update target client trends, budgeting processes, and pain points; develop strategies for Altura to capitalize on the market intelligence
Collaborate proactively with Studio Leads to understand their marketing needs and execute marketing strategies.
Design and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies targeting high-value enterprise accounts, working closely with Studio Leads and Sales Operations to connect with targeted organizations.
Track key performance indicators (KPI’s) to monitor the effectiveness of marketing and business development activities and present findings to the Leadership Team; collaborate with the Director of Operations and Sales Operations to track and report on the KPIs
Leverage AI tools strategically to increase internal efficiency and accelerate content ideation, while strictly maintaining Altura's high standards for technical accuracy, brand voice, and thought leadership integrity.
Develop a streamlined knowledge-extraction process for Altura’s technical subject matter experts, minimizing their time investment while maximizing the creation of high-impact case studies, white papers, and conference presentations.
Develop and oversee digital marketing tactics, including website optimization, SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
Develop and maintain a library of content, qualifications, and resources for client presentations and conference speaking presentations.
Oversee the strategic messaging and visual identity of competitive proposals; establish scalable proposal templates, boilerplate material, and standard operating procedures so that technical teams can efficiently execute standard RFPs without distracting from core strategic marketing initiatives.
