We are looking for a Director of Marketing who can help tell that story. The Director of Marketing is a creative strategist, storyteller, and brand ambassador responsible for bringing the Hotel Phoenix experience to life through thoughtful, impactful marketing. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role leads the development and execution of marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue across the hotel. From digital storytelling and social media to partnerships, campaigns, and community engagement, the Director of Marketing ensures that the voice of Hotel Phoenix remains vibrant, authentic, and connected to the spirit of Atlanta. This role requires someone who understands how hospitality, culture, and storytelling intersect — someone who sees marketing not just as promotion, but as an extension of the guest experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in hospitality, lifestyle brands, food & beverage, or creative industries.
  • A deep understanding of digital marketing, social media, and brand storytelling.
  • Strong creative instincts paired with strategic thinking.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • The ability to collaborate across departments and bring ideas to life.
  • A passion for culture, community, and creating memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the Hotel Phoenix brand across all marketing channels.
  • Ensure the voice, visual identity, and storytelling of the hotel remain consistent and compelling.
  • Translate the hotel’s personality into creative campaigns and experiences.
  • Oversee the hotel’s digital presence including website content and social media platforms.
  • Develop engaging and culturally relevant content that reflects the energy of Atlanta.
  • Collaborate with photographers, designers, and creators to produce original content.
  • Concept and execute marketing campaigns that support room sales, food & beverage outlets, and hotel programming.
  • Launch promotions and seasonal activations that generate buzz and guest engagement.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to support revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Cultivate relationships with local artists, businesses, influencers, and media partners.
  • Position Hotel Phoenix as an active part of the Atlanta cultural and hospitality community.
  • Help develop partnerships and collaborations that extend the hotel’s reach and relevance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote hotel events, rooftop programming, culinary activations, and community gatherings.
  • Ensure every event has a strong marketing presence and story behind it.
  • Track campaign performance, engagement metrics, and marketing ROI.
  • Use insights and analytics to continuously refine strategy and creative direction.
