About The Position

Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors, and Landscape Architect, DPC is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead the firm’s marketing and pursuit efforts for our growing full-service A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) practice. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing firmwide marketing strategy, strengthening brand positioning, driving proposal and pursuit success, and supporting revenue growth across multiple market sectors. The Director of Marketing will partner closely with executive leadership, market sector leaders, and technical professionals to elevate the firm’s visibility, strengthen client engagement, and position Hunt-EAS for continued growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, collaborative leader, and hands-on contributor with experience in the A/E/C industry or in professional services marketing environments where proposals, pursuits, and client relationships drive growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
7–12 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry.
Candidates with experience in professional services marketing environments involving proposal-driven business development will also be considered.
Demonstrated success leading complex RFQ/RFP responses and pursuit strategies.
Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation development skills.
Proven leadership experience managing marketing teams.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement firmwide marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
Collaborate with executive leadership and market sector leaders to support strategic positioning in established and emerging markets.
Establish measurable marketing KPIs and report performance metrics to leadership.
Identify opportunities to enhance brand visibility, client engagement, and market presence.
Lead and oversee proposal development, RFQ/RFP responses, interview preparation, and shortlist presentations.
Collaborate with technical teams to craft compelling narratives that communicate the firm’s design expertise, technical strengths, and project success.
Support business development initiatives including strategic account planning and client relationship management.
Work closely with leadership to support capture planning and pursuit strategy for key opportunities.
Serve as steward of the firm’s brand across all platforms and communications.
Oversee website management, digital presence, SEO strategy, and social media initiatives.
Lead development of marketing collateral, thought leadership content, and award submissions.
Support internal communications related to marketing initiatives, firm strategy, and major announcements.
Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals (5–6 staff members).
Foster a collaborative, high-performance marketing culture that emphasizes accountability, creativity, and professional development.
Establish clear workflows and quality standards for proposals, graphics, and marketing materials.
Oversee special marketing initiatives including PR efforts, photography, videography, and firm storytelling.
Monitor industry trends, procurement forecasts, and competitor activity.
Support leadership in evaluating new markets, services, and growth opportunities.
Coordinate marketing presence for industry conferences, client events, and professional associations.
