About The Position

The Director of Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of both new and existing business at Breakthrough. This leader will be responsible for establishing innovative strategies and facilitating efficient processes that align with the organization’s goals. They will lead a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement. With a creative mindset grounded in data-driven decision-making, the Director of Marketing will oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive annual marketing strategy designed to enhance brand visibility, generate demand, and support revenue growth. This position requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on delivering measurable results. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels, and strong people leadership skills. This position is located in Green Bay, WI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including demonstrated experience leading a team.
  • Proven expertise in multi-channel marketing, including digital, content, and brand strategy.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align functional marketing efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience leveraging data and insights to inform strategy, measure success, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a growth mindset and a focus on innovation and continuous learning.
  • Proficiency in MarTech platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of marketers across demand generation, content marketing, digital marketing, and event marketing functions.
  • Partner with the VP of Marketing & Strategy on the annual development and execution of Breakthrough’s marketing strategy across several mediums and platforms to drive new business opportunities into the sales pipeline.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that align with organizational goals and deliver measurable business outcomes, with a strong focus on lead generation.
  • Assist in preparing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve marketing goals.
  • Manage team priorities, allocate resources, and oversee the execution of projects to ensure high-quality, timely results.
  • Implement go-to-market plans in partnership with sales, product, and customer success teams to support revenue growth.
  • Work closely with Product teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with product launches and updates.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure marketing activities are driving measurable results.
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform marketing decisions and improve ROI.
