About The Position

Maimone Legal is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the firm's next phase of growth. This individual will provide strategic leadership across all marketing initiatives, bring greater structure and accountability to the department, and work closely with firm leadership to identify new opportunities for audience growth, brand development, and business expansion. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader who can transform a successful marketing operation into an even more scalable, data-driven, and high-performing growth engine. The role involves leading a talented marketing team, building systems, reporting, and accountability, and driving brand growth and performance marketing in a dynamic, multi-practice environment. The Director of Marketing will also expand both the legal firm and its sister marketing company.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success leading complex marketing functions, developing growth strategies, managing budgets, and driving measurable results across multiple channels and initiatives.
  • Experience leading multiple brands or client accounts within an agency environment is highly preferred, bringing a strong foundation in accountability, reporting, strategic planning, and performance management.
  • Skilled in establishing KPIs, building reporting frameworks, and leveraging data and analytics to identify opportunities, optimize performance, and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Well-rounded marketing leader with experience across paid advertising, content marketing, social media, brand development, events, and audience growth, with the ability to connect these efforts into a cohesive strategy.
  • Strong communicator with the confidence and professionalism to represent the firm publicly, build relationships, and engage effectively with leadership, partners, clients, and community stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Thrives in an in-office role where collaboration and direct engagement with colleagues are integral to success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand growth, strengthen market positioning, and support the firm's long-term business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a talented marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  • Build reporting frameworks, establish meaningful KPIs, and leverage data-driven insights to measure performance, optimize results, and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee content strategy, social media initiatives, and audience development efforts that expand reach, deepen engagement, and strengthen brand visibility.
  • Oversee and expand the firm's live and virtual events, creating memorable experiences that drive brand awareness, community engagement, and business growth.
  • Elevate the personal brands of the firm's leaders while identifying new opportunities for thought leadership, speaking engagements, media exposure, and strategic partnerships.
