About The Position

Prototek is looking for a hands-on Director of Marketing to lead and build our marketing function from the ground up. This isn’t a brand-only role — it’s a commercial, demand-generation leadership position focused on driving pipeline, supporting sales, and delivering measurable results. You’ll own everything from strategy to execution — campaigns, website performance, content, webinars, events, and reporting — while leading a small but growing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, or digital marketing
  • Proven track record of driving leads, pipeline, and revenue growth
  • Experience supporting sales teams and pipeline development
  • Strong experience with digital marketing, SEO, website optimization, and lead generation
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and marketing analytics
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts into clear messaging
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills
  • Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements – Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities. This position is subject to ITAR which requires U.S. Person status. ITAR defines U.S. Person as U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status.

  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies
  • Background in CNC machining, sheet metal, additive manufacturing, or related industries

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute B2B demand generation campaigns to drive qualified leads and pipeline growth
  • Partner with sales and Business Development Managers on account-based marketing (ABM) and strategic initiatives
  • Own and optimize website performance, including SEO, landing pages, and conversion rates
  • Improve lead-to-opportunity and quote conversion through stronger messaging and digital strategy
  • Develop and manage multi-channel campaigns (digital, email, webinars, events, content)
  • Build and maintain a structured marketing campaign calendar
  • Lead content strategy (case studies, blogs, email campaigns, sales materials, thought leadership)
  • Track performance using Salesforce, marketing analytics, and KPI dashboards
  • Manage marketing budget, vendors, and ROI
  • Lead and develop a small marketing team while building scalable processes
