The company is seeking a Director of Marketing, an essential role responsible for oversight of the creative team (along with Division leaders) and driving the overall branding and marketing of the company. The ideal candidate can both guide a small team (~5) and directly contribute to high-impact projects. This position will partner closely with leasing, property management, and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business with a minor in Marketing with 7 or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience managing a staff of professionals
  • 5 or more years of real estate industry experience
  • Digital media strategy
  • Sound technical skills, good judgement, and strong operational focus
  • Able to be self-directed and a member of a team
  • Capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals
  • Able to train and mentor others
  • Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, and PowerPoint. Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with managing large projects and social media platforms and CRM (HubSpot)
  • Proven success with marketing strategy and creativity

Nice To Haves

  • HTML/CSS knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, directing, and evaluating division Marketing initiatives in accordance with business and goals and strategic plans, while fostering consistent branding strategy
  • Mentor the creative team to efficiently create marketing materials such as area maps, availability flyers, email campaigns, signage, brochures, proposals, business pitch books, and utilizing social media announcements
  • Manage the marketing team to ensure cross-training and backup whether out or staff transitions
  • Manage and enhance HPI’s Social Media Presence
  • Lead creative efforts for initiatives such as webcasts, podcasts, videos, etc.
  • Lead creative efforts for investor, client and partner events such as Investor Day, Golf Tournaments
  • Lead and manage successful projects such as website redesign, SEO analytic enhancements to increase brand awareness
  • Drive HPI’s CRM platforms with support from marketing team, leasing and IR
  • Assist with drafting materials for investors and clients such as pitch books and investor books, summaries for quarterly reports, etc.
  • Collect & analyze metrics from marketing channels such as Conversion Rate, CAC, Open Rate, CTR, etc. and make strategic decisions accordingly.
  • Measure, report, and communicate marketing campaigns/programs to the Brokers, Partners, and creative team
  • Manage any marketing related vendors
  • Research and analyze industry trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities and create market differentiation
  • Build and manage the industry marketing plan and budget working with division leaders and IR
