About The Position

The Marketing Operations function at GBG is the strategic backbone of the marketing organization — responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and scalable growth. Director of Marketing Operations The Director of Marketing Operations ensures that the systems, processes, and insights powering GBG’s marketing engine are aligned, efficient, and built for impact. Working closely with leadership across Marketing, Sales, and Product, Marketing Operations drives performance, accountability, and continuous improvement across all go-to-market activities.

Requirements

  • HubSpot and Salesforce expertise
  • Familiarity with 6sense, Cognism, Looker, or similar technologies
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Expertise in reporting and analytics, including enablement for the broader team

Responsibilities

  • Lead Marketing Infrastructure and Systems: Own the marketing technology stack, ensuring seamless integration across CRM, automation, analytics, and sales enablement platforms to support efficient campaign execution and accurate reporting.
  • Foster Cross-Functional and Global Alignment: Act as the connective tissue between regional Marketing and Sales teams — ensuring shared goals, consistent metrics, and coordinated execution across the customer journey.
  • Optimize Processes for Scale: Design, document, and refine core marketing workflows to maximize collaboration, reduce friction, and improve the speed and quality of marketing execution across teams.
  • Drive Data Quality and Insights: Establish best practices for data management, reporting, and analytics. Deliver actionable insights on pipeline health, campaign performance, and ROI to guide strategic decisions.
  • Enable Strategic Planning and Budgeting: Partner with Marketing leadership to manage planning cycles, forecasting, and budget allocation. Provide transparency into spend effectiveness and identify opportunities for resource optimization.
  • Champion Operational Excellence: Build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement by identifying operational gaps, implementing scalable solutions, and promoting a data-first mindset across the organization.
