Director of Manufacturing
About The Position
RectorSeal is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Manufacturing to lead all aspects of manufacturing operations at our Capacitor Factory in Palm Coast, Florida. For more than 80 years, RectorSeal has been a trusted manufacturer and distributor of innovative electrical, chemical, and mechanical products serving the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. As Director of Manufacturing, you will play a critical leadership role in driving operational performance, developing high-performing teams, and implementing world-class manufacturing practices that support our growth while maintaining our commitment to quality, cost efficiency, safety, and on-time delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent operational leadership experience
- Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience with direct responsibility for production operations
- Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Palm Coast, Florida, area.

- Experience utilizing JD Edwards (Oracle) ERP systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish capabilities
Responsibilities
- Direct overall plant performance, including productivity, quality, output, and efficiency
- Drive a culture of safety and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurring issues
- Develop, implement, monitor, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Measure operational performance against strategic goals and financial targets
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and other best practices
- Coach, mentor, and develop managers, supervisors, process technicians, and hourly employees
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and customer focus
- Plan staffing and resources to align with production forecasts and inventory requirements
- Coordinate production schedules in partnership with Planning and Supply Chain teams
- Manage operating expenses and develop business cases for capital investments
- Lead implementation of new manufacturing equipment, process improvements, and operational integration projects
- Utilize JD Edwards (Oracle) ERP to effectively manage manufacturing operations
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functional leaders
