About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations during an exciting period of rapid growth. This strategic leadership role will oversee all operational and developmental aspects of our expanding electromechanical assembly, machining, and production processes. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in manufacturing management, process optimization, and team leadership to drive operational excellence and support our continued expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution (required)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing and supervisory/management experience
  • Proven experience managing electromechanical assembly operations in a shop, plant, or factory environment
  • Hands-on machining experience and technical knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience working with metals, motors, and mechanical components
  • Strong proficiency with MRP/ERP systems, inventory management software, and warehouse management systems
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Track record of driving operational improvements and managing organizational growth

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all manufacturing operations, including electromechanical assembly, machining, and production processes
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and management protocols to maximize efficiency and resource utilization
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to support rapid growth in product sales and manufacturing capacity
  • Manage shop floor operations, production scheduling, and workflow optimization
  • Oversee inventory management, warehouse operations, and supply chain coordination
  • Implement and optimize MRP/ERP systems for improved operational performance
  • Lead, develop, and mentor manufacturing supervisors and production teams
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure manufacturing goals and quality standards are met
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to support new product launches
