About The Position

Executive leader for Manufacturing Engineering driving operational scalability, cost competitiveness, automation strategy, quality performance, and new product industrialization for eBOS equipment, harness systems, and related assemblies. Leads Process, Industrial, Automation, and NPI teams to support rapid growth and multi-site replication. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 15+ years of manufacturing experience with 7+ years in engineering/manufacturing leadership.
  • Deep experience in electrical assembly, wire harness, panel build, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
  • Lean/Six Sigma background; proven experience scaling operations in high-growth environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of UL508A, NEC requirements, and high-voltage DC systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute long-term ME roadmap aligned with domestic content expansion and business strategy.
  • Establish and manage KPIs for labor efficiency, throughput, scrap/rework, OTD, and cost per unit across sites.
  • Standardize and optimize electrical assembly processes (wire processing, crimping, harness assembly, enclosure integration, torque-controlled fastening, electrical testing).
  • Lead DFM/DFA, PFMEA, validation, control plans, and work instructions for NPIs and customer configurations.
  • Develop automation and smart factory initiatives (wire processing automation, automated crimping/termination, inline electrical test, material handling, MES/traceability, analytics).
  • Lead capacity expansion and capital planning; optimize plant layouts for scalable harness and enclosure assembly.
  • Own ME budget and capital expenditures; deliver measurable reductions in cost per unit, labor hours, scrap, and rework.
  • Ensure compliance with UL/NEC and customer electrical standards; maintain rigorous traceability and testing.
  • Champion a zero-incident safety culture and cross-functional execution with Supply Chain, Quality, Product Engineering, and Operations.
  • Build organizational capability; hire, mentor, and develop leaders and high-performing teams.
  • Represent ME in executive forums; communicate strategy, risks, and results to senior leadership and customers.
