The company culture emphasizes in-person collaboration at its headquarters in Draper, Utah.

Requirements

  • 7 - 10 years in B2B SaaS lifecycle, customer, or email marketing, with at least 3 years owning programs end to end.
  • Experience building lifecycle programs from scratch, including onboarding, adoption, and expansion journeys with demonstrable results.
  • Experience working across both sides of the funnel: prospect nurture that produced pipeline and customer programs that moved retention or expansion.
  • Proven ability to influence revenue, with experience moving pipeline, attach, or net retention.
  • Proficiency in creating effective email, SMS, and other communications that merchants open and act on.
  • Player-coach mentality: ability to build initial programs while also hiring and leading a team.
  • AI fluency: experience using modern AI tools for research, writing, and shipping faster.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or scaling lifecycle marketing at a high-growth startup, ideally through a stage of $10M to $100M+ in revenue.
  • Experience in e-commerce, the Shopify ecosystem, or merchant-facing SaaS.
  • Experience running an expansion motion on a multi-product platform and understanding customer adoption of additional products.
  • Experience using product usage data to trigger campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Marketo, or similar platforms, with the ability to build journeys independently.
  • Experience building reference, review, or advocacy programs.
  • Experience hiring and managing lifecycle or customer marketers.

Responsibilities

  • Turn the prospect database into pipeline by owning email strategy and implementation, including nurture by segment and stage, reactivation of stalled and closed-lost deals, offers and announcements, and air cover for outbound.
  • Arm the growth teams by working with sales leadership to ensure marketing email and rep outreach are coordinated, providing reps with triggers, content, and timing for effective outreach.
  • Shorten time-to-value for every new merchant by designing the journey from install or signed contract through first value for every product, including what to send, when, and what to ask of the merchant, in partnership with product, sales, and post-sales.
  • Drive multi-product adoption by building programs that encourage merchants to move from one product to two or three, including usage-triggered campaigns, product education, and launch communications to the base, in collaboration with product marketing.
  • Turn product signals into action by working with product, customer teams, and RevOps to define events, segments, and triggers for lifecycle programs, ensuring data is useful before building automation.
  • Build the customer marketing engine, including managing reviews, references, case studies, and customer communications like product updates, newsletters, and events.
  • Set the standard for email at Redo by owning the template, voice, cadence, and quality bar for all email, SMS, and in-app messages.
  • Measure what matters by defining program metrics, reporting on them (pipeline from database, time-to-value, attach, retention, win-back), and building an experimentation engine and testing roadmap for optimization.
  • Build the team by hiring and developing lifecycle and customer marketers as programs prove successful.
