Develops and implements inspiring success-oriented Life Enrichment programs designed to meet the overall needs of the residents based on the person-centered care approach. This role involves creating meaningful and purposeful activity programs, managing a monthly activities program calendar, and promoting a Family Partnership Program to engage volunteers. The Director oversees Life Enrichment coordinators and Care Managers, ensuring quality daily living experiences for residents. A key responsibility is completing Person-Centered Care forms to gather social information for program development. The position embraces the Parallel Program model and requires maintaining data collection and weekly reports to ensure residents are engaged a minimum of five times per day in life enrichment programs. It also involves providing a forum for residents and family members to share ideas and concerns, encouraging resident participation in activities of interest, and maintaining adequate supplies within budgetary guidelines. Collaboration with other departments, ensuring resident and environment safety, and carrying out duties assigned by the Executive Director, including on-call and Manager On Duty responsibilities, are also essential. The role requires the ability to work safely and alertly, take ownership of safety, and disclose any medication that might impair job performance. Non-essential functions include leading by example with CORE Values, encouraging teamwork, attending community meetings, completing required courses, and being prompt and reliable. All associates are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment.
