Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Technical Training, or Workforce Development, including 5+ years in leadership
  • Proven experience developing technical training, skills development, workforce capability, or apprenticeship programs
  • Ability to partner with Operations, Safety, HR, and technical subject matter experts to identify needs and develop practical training solutions
  • Hands-on experience with LMS/LXP platforms, digital learning tools, adoption, and effectiveness measurement
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, training partners, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong communication, project management, and execution skills with a strategic, customer-focused mindset
  • Passion for continuous improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, equipment-driven, or technical service environments preferred
  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Business, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a learning strategy aligned with business goals, partnering with Operations, Safety, and HR to assess workforce needs, improve time to competency, develop leadership pipelines, and build sustainable skilled-trade and apprenticeship programs.
  • Oversee safety, regulatory, certification, and technical training programs to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge needed to perform safely and effectively.
  • Lead the company’s aftermarket technical training center, providing high-quality product and equipment training for internal teams and external customers while supporting customer success and revenue growth.
  • Develop skills frameworks and training programs that strengthen technical capability across critical roles.
  • Partner with Operations and external training institutions to support apprenticeship and skilled-trade development and build a sustainable pipeline of technical talent.
  • Lead the company’s LMS, LXP, and digital learning tools to create a scalable learning environment.
  • Convert operational knowledge, technical procedures, and best practices into accessible learning resources.
  • Use data and KPI reporting to measure effectiveness and support workforce decisions.
