About The Position

Trinity College is building on the momentum of a successful fundraising campaign to prepare its Advancement division for the next major philanthropic initiative. The Director of Leadership Giving will play a strategic and visible leadership role, drawing on Trinity’s strong annual giving program to drive sustainable growth in the $10,000 to $100,000 gift bands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-8 years of experience
• Demonstrated and sustained front line fundraising success
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of program
• Collaborative and service-oriented approach
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five leadership gift officers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Establish clear performance expectations, metrics, and goals for each team member, and provide ongoing coaching and performance management to ensure success.
• Partner with the Associate Vice President for Advancement to develop and execute a comprehensive leadership giving strategy focused on annual fund gifts between $10,000 and $100,000.
• Personally manage a portfolio of leadership gift prospects and donors, developing meaningful relationships that result in increased philanthropic support.
• Analyze fundraising performance, pipeline development, and portfolio activity to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
• Prepare the leadership giving program for success in the College's upcoming comprehensive campaign by strengthening the donor pipeline and increasing leadership-level participation.
• Represent Trinity College at alumni and donor events, both on and off campus, including evenings and weekends as needed.
