About The Position

The Director of Law Enforcement & National Security provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Oak Grove Technologies’ (OGT) portfolio supporting law enforcement, homeland security, and national security missions. This role ensures the successful execution of programs that enhance operational readiness, intelligence integration, and mission success for federal, state, and local partners. As a senior member of OGT’s leadership team, the Director of Law Enforcement & National Security oversees program performance, manages client relationships, and leads the expansion of OGT’s capabilities across law enforcement and national security sectors. The position requires a deep understanding of interagency operations, strong program management expertise, and the ability to align OGT’s solutions with evolving national security and public safety priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, National Security, or a related field (required).
  • 12–15 years of progressive experience in law enforcement, homeland security, or national security operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management or director-level role.
  • Proven success leading large, complex programs within the federal contracting or public safety environment.
  • Experience managing interagency operations, intelligence programs, or security initiatives at the federal, state, or local level.
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, contract management, and compliance requirements (FAR/DFARS, CJIS).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior government officials and law enforcement leaders.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Deep understanding of law enforcement operations, intelligence support, and national security missions.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align organizational capabilities with mission priorities.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational growth.
  • U.S. Citizenship and an Active Top Secret (TS) or equivalent Security Clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) or DAWIA Program Management certification preferred.
  • Law enforcement academy or federal training completion (FLETC, FBI National Academy, etc.) strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership and direction for OGT’s law enforcement and national security programs, ensuring mission success, contract compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee program execution across multiple contracts, guiding operational teams, technical staff, and program managers to achieve performance excellence.
  • Serve as OGT’s senior liaison to federal law enforcement agencies, homeland security organizations, and interagency partners, maintaining trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of programs in training, intelligence support, investigations, and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Capture, and Proposal teams to identify and pursue new opportunities in the law enforcement and security sectors.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure effective, efficient, and compliant program delivery.
  • Ensure all programs adhere to applicable policies, standards, and federal regulations, including FAR/DFARS, CJIS, and security compliance frameworks.
  • Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and policy developments affecting the law enforcement and national security landscape.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance OGT’s capabilities in intelligence analysis, counterterrorism, emergency response, and specialized training.
  • Represent OGT at conferences, interagency working groups, and client engagements to strengthen partnerships and promote organizational expertise.
  • Partner with internal teams—including HR, Recruiting, Contracts, and Finance—to ensure operational readiness, workforce excellence, and compliance.
  • Lead initiatives that expand OGT’s footprint in support of domestic security, intelligence, and mission-critical law enforcement operations.
