About The Position

The Director of Lansing Clinic provides overall leadership, management, and strategic direction for all services at the Lansing Clinic, including Primary Care, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Radiology, and Physical Therapy. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. The Director collaborates closely with the Executive Director of Clinics, Clinic Medical Officer, Service Line Leads, and Chief Medical Informatics Officer to align clinical and operational priorities, address challenges, and implement process improvements. In addition to operational oversight, the Director plays a key role in community engagement and marketing, developing and maintaining relationships with local organizations, referral sources, and community partners to expand clinic services and enhance Amberwell Health System’s presence in the Lansing area. The Director leads efforts to promote clinic programs, grow patient volumes, and support strategic initiatives that position the clinic as a trusted healthcare provider in the community. The Director serves as the primary operational leader for the location and provides oversight and guidance to clinic leadership and all staff. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in a clinic leadership or multi-service healthcare management role with demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
  • BLS

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing a multi-specialty clinic or healthcare location with responsibility for multiple service lines.
  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration or business is a plus.
  • Additional leadership or healthcare management certifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and accountability for the day-to-day operations and strategic growth of the Lansing Clinic location.
  • Oversee clinical and non-clinical services including Primary Care, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Radiology, and Physical Therapy.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care delivery and compliance with all regulatory standards (RHC, OSHA, and other applicable regulations).
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and best practices across all services to optimize performance and patient satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate clinic leadership and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional development, and high engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director of Clinic Operations and Clinic Medical Directors to identify barriers, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Manage operational performance, including staffing, scheduling, productivity, budgeting, and resource allocation for the clinic location.
  • Oversee contracting, billing, and financial performance of all service lines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead marketing initiatives and community outreach efforts to grow clinic services and enhance Amberwell’s presence in the region.
  • Participate in strategic planning, reporting key performance metrics, and recommending opportunities for service expansion or process improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-department collaboration across clinical and administrative areas.
