About The Position

Spine Team Texas is seeking an experienced Director of Clinic Operations to oversee the day‑to-day and strategic operations of our spine orthopedic specialty clinics. Reporting directly to the COO, this role partners closely with physicians, practice managers, and executive leadership to ensure our clinics run efficiently, compliantly, and with a relentless focus on patient access and experience. This role is ideal for a healthcare operations leader who understands the realities of orthopedic and specialty clinics—high patient volumes, provider productivity, complex workflows, and the need for consistent, scalable operations. What You’ll Do Provide senior leadership to Practice Managers and overall clinic leadership across multiple and spine and orthopedic clinic locations across DFW. Ensure standardized clinic workflows, operational controls, and best practices across all sites Optimize patient access, scheduling, clinic flow, staffing models, and provider productivity Partner with physicians and providers to support efficient, patient‑centered clinic operations Lead budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and cost controls for clinic operations Establish and monitor KPIs including clinic performance, productivity, patient experience, and financial results Develop and coach clinic leaders to build a strong, accountable leadership bench Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and internal controls Support clinic growth and expansion through scalable systems and operational readiness What Success Looks Like Well‑run, consistent orthopedic and spine clinics Maintain an unsurpassed workplace culture Strong collaboration between operations, centers of excellence and providers High patient satisfaction, access, and throughput Disciplined financial performance and cost control Clinics that are operationally ready to grow Why Spine Team Texas? QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred: MBA, Healthcare Administration, Finance) 4+ years of senior operations leadership in multi‑site orthopedic, spine, or specialty healthcare clinics Experience supporting physicians, APPs, and clinical teams in a matrixed environment Strong understanding of clinic operations, patient flow, staffing models, and financial performance Proven ability to lead leaders, manage change, and drive operational improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred: MBA, Healthcare Administration, Finance)
  • 4+ years of senior operations leadership in multi‑site orthopedic, spine, or specialty healthcare clinics
  • Experience supporting physicians, APPs, and clinical teams in a matrixed environment
  • Strong understanding of clinic operations, patient flow, staffing models, and financial performance
  • Proven ability to lead leaders, manage change, and drive operational improvement
