The Director of Investments is a senior member of the multi-asset team who serves as a high-performing generalist across public equity, public fixed income, and specializes in support of TJU's corporate venturing strategy. Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer and working closely with the Deputy CIO, Managing Director, Multi-Asset, and Managing Director, Jefferson Ventures, the Director helps shape the strategy for marketable assets, serves as the key analyst liaison to the public markets managers, and portfolio construction within the marketable portfolio, and contributes to total-portfolio asset allocation decisions. In addition, the Director of Investments will be a critical contributor to the continued development and maturity of Jefferson's corporate venturing strategy including network development, end-to-end investment valuation, underwriting, structuring, and presentation for approval. The Director is responsible both for investment outcomes within marketable assets and for the development of investment professionals working in the Investment Office. The Director also leads the Office's engagement with external investment partners on the marketable side, under an extension-of-staff model in which the Office retains all decision-making authority and direct ownership of manager relationships.
