About The Position

As the Director of International Tax, you will interface with and respond to business unit and other function personnel as tax-related cross-border questions arise, including intercompany transfer pricing, contract review, Permanent Establishment (PE) risk control, and global deployment tax matters. You will also identify and research a full range of international tax planning and structuring initiatives, including the evaluation of tax treaties, planning related to offshore investment activities, coordination of U.S. and non-U.S. tax laws, reviewing significant non-routine transactions within and outside the U.S., and ensuring that planning is coordinated and optimized on a global basis. This role involves a hybrid remote/in-office work schedule, reporting to the Cranberry Township office and directly to the VP of Global Tax. You will also mentor the tax staff reporting to your organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting. Master's degree in Business or Taxation.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience. A combination of public accounting and large multinational experience a considerable plus.
  • Professional certifications: CPA or JD.
  • Broad technical knowledge of US international tax law and regulations and treaties.
  • Experience with a Public Company.
  • 3+ years of experience working across international regions and cultures.
  • Successfully pass a stringent background and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the reporting of the international aspects of the US Federal income tax return and other US reporting requirements.
  • Support quarterly and year-end income tax provision and related documentation for non-US jurisdictions.
  • Assist non-US tax compliance, including Pillar 2 compliance.
  • Help manage the company's global transfer pricing policy and related documentation and calculations. Coordinate with local country controllers and third-party co-sourcing service providers to ensure consistent global application of the policy and compliance with local country transfer pricing laws and BEPS documentation requirements.
  • Prepare requests for tax examinations by government officials and participate in developing strategies to successfully defend tax filing positions related to cross border matters.
  • Support the integration of business acquisitions, dispositions and restructurings.
  • Perform and maintain E&P, GILTI, FDII and BEAT calculations as well as maintain tax basis records.
  • Work in a fast-paced collaborative environment, efficiently work within deadlines, and be a positive role model and mentor for tax staff.
  • Be adaptive, flexible, and able to function effectively in a highly complex global environment with an ability to multi-task.
  • Communicate with Global Tax Directors and Global VP of Tax.
