About The Position
A nationally recognized architecture, planning, and interiors firm is seeking a Director of Interior Design to lead growth across the Pacific Northwest. This is a high-impact, client-facing opportunity for a respected design professional who enjoys building business, shaping market strategy, and helping talented teams succeed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- 10+ years of leadership experience within a highly regarded design firm
- 10+ years of successful business development experience
- Strong relationships and market knowledge within the Pacific Northwest
- A proven ability to generate opportunities and build executive-level client relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and pursuit leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Certified Interior Designer credentials are preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the firm’s interior design growth strategy across the Pacific Northwest
- Develop relationships with owners, developers, investors, builders, and industry partners
- Identify new opportunities and guide major pursuits from initial contact through project delivery
- Serve as a trusted advisor on interior design, procurement, and project execution
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements
- Mentor designers and project leaders in client engagement and business development
- Help strengthen a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team culture
