About The Position

The Interior Designer, based in NYC, will support Padel Haus upper management, including working directly with the CEO, on new club openings across the U.S., expansion initiatives, and renovation projects. This role is instrumental in bringing the Padel Haus brand vision to life through thoughtful, high-quality interior design across all locations. The Interior Designer will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, including Architects of Record, General Contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed with precision from concept through completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in a design or architecture firm; hospitality or high-end residential experience a plus
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp and rendering experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a collaborative team environment
  • Passion for design with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Must have a legal right to work in the United States.
  • Portfolio submissions are required for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Support new club, renovation, and special projects with FF&E selection and coordination
  • Must be comfortable with up to 50% travel, including construction site visits and new club openings.
  • Assist in preparing materials for weekly design presentation meetings
  • Collaborate with internal Architecture & Planning team and cross-functional departments including Marketing, Creative, Procurement, and Facilities
  • Work in tandem with the Architect of Record, Construction Management team, and General Contractor to ensure design intent is executed accurately on site
  • Coordinate with outside design consultants under senior designer guidance
  • Occasional travel with the opening team for new clubs and presale offices
  • Source pricing, lead times, and stock availability of FF&E items and finish materials
  • Support procurement process including vendor outreach, purchase order coordination, and invoice processing
  • Manage FF&E inventory tracking from order placement through delivery, installation, and closeout
  • Assist in creating and maintaining finish schedules throughout project durations
  • Help track FF&E budgets for new clubs and renovation projects
  • Coordinate and assist in staging of spaces prior to opening, ensuring all FF&E is placed per design intent
  • Design mood/materials boards for clubs and presale offices
  • Maintain and update internal materials library with vendor information
  • Create presentations in InDesign, spreadsheets in Excel, and documents in Word
  • Draft floor plans, interior elevations, and cabinetry details in AutoCAD
  • Support the standard interior signage package process including vendor coordination and installation
  • Assist with Flame Reports for the Fire Department as needed, including ordering Flame Certificates, completing finish forms, and coordinating with vendors
  • Photography and minor graphic design including mood boards, finish boards, and image editing
