About The Position

Lead the successful integration of newly acquired agencies to drive value realization, operational alignment, and achievement of strategic business objectives. Responsibilities include developing and executing integration strategies, leading cross-functional teams, overseeing project plans and performance metrics, managing risks, coordinating Day One readiness activities, fostering cultural integration, and serving as a key liaison between Ansay and acquired organizations.

Requirements

  • A strong background in business, extensive experience in managing large-scale integrations, and strategic leadership skills. This role requires a leader who can orchestrate complex, cross-functional projects to ensure a smooth transition and maximize value from an acquisition.
  • A bachelor's degree or relevant experience in acquisition and integration processes
  • 10 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, integration management, or strategic operations is typically required, with a focus on M&A execution.
  • Significant experience leading complex, large-scale post-merger integration programs is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience and strong skills in project or program management are necessary to lead complex integrations with numerous workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all post-close integration activities for newly acquired agencies.
  • Define post-close integration strategies that align with the transaction’s strategic intent, deal structure, earn-out framework, and long-term partnership approach.
  • Develop and maintain a repeatable integration playbook, timeline, checklist, communication cadence, milestones, escalation protocols, risk mitigation plans, and success metrics for each acquired agency.
  • Establish consistent integration principles and frameworks that can be repeated and scaled across multiple acquisitions.
  • Partner with the Chief Development Officer and M&A Team to assess prospective opportunities and support pipeline development.
  • Participate in early-stage conversations with agency owners to understand their goals, concerns, culture, employee dynamics, and long-term succession needs.
  • Serve as the primary integration quarterback, coordinating priorities across leadership, operations, HR, technology, sales, finance, marketing, compliance, and agency teams while minimizing disruption to ongoing business operations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Ansay leadership and acquired owners, operators, and leadership teams.
  • Lead the cultural migration of acquired agencies into Ansay’s values, expectations, leadership practices, operating rhythm, and performance standards.
  • Build trust with former owners, producers, service teams, managers, and employees throughout the transition.
  • Execute transparent communication and change management strategies that reduce uncertainty, foster trust, and support employee engagement.
  • Identify potential cultural risks and develop proactive strategies to address concerns early.
  • Promote adoption of The Ansay Way while respecting local agency identity, relationships, and historical strengths.
  • Support carrier alignment, market access planning, strategic carrier communication, carrier licensing, and growth opportunities during integration.
  • Help producers and service teams understand Ansay’s carrier strategy, marketplace relationships, resources, and growth expectations.
  • Partner with HR to coordinate employee onboarding, benefits transition, role clarity, policy alignment, and employee communications.
  • Evaluate organizational structures, staffing models, leadership roles, and talent needs within newly acquired agencies.
  • Support talent retention strategies, succession planning, employee engagement, leadership development, staffing gap identification, training needs, and employee support requirements during integration.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns, integration questions, and transition-related issues.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to assess agency workflows, service models, operational practices, client experience standards, office needs, and opportunities to improve consistency, scalability, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Provide regular, structured integration status updates to the Chief Development Officer, M&A Team, and executive leadership on progress, risks, key decisions, and required support.
  • Facilitate LATD steering committee meetings to maintain alignment and momentum.
  • Ensure clear documentation, communication cadence, and accountability throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Capture lessons learned from each integration to strengthen Ansay’s overall M&A integration approach and improve speed, consistency, and employee experience over time.
  • Serve as a thought partner to executive leadership on acquisition readiness, integration design, and scalable best practices.
