About The Position

Under guidance from the Executive Director of Nursing, the Director of Inpatient Acute Care Services provides operational oversight for key service lines, including Critical Care and Med-Surg/Telemetry, while supporting strategic priorities and service line planning. The Dir of Inpatient Acute Care Services is responsible for service line performance, operational efficiency, quality outcomes, budget management, productivity, and regulatory readiness. The Director partners with managers, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient- and family-centered care while driving continuous improvement in throughput, quality, and patient experience outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school.
• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Current, unencumbered North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license.
• BLS upon hire.
• ACLS within 6 months.
• 5+ years clinical experience.
• Previous management experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant specialty certifications preferred.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
