About The Position

The Director of Innovation leads the organization’s innovation strategy by identifying, evaluating, and implementing new technologies and process improvements that align with the company’s goals. This role serves as a catalyst for change, driving short-term experimentation and long-term transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience managing Microsoft environments, networks, cloud infrastructure, and end-user systems.
  • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-level onboarding and support operations.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards, risk management, and business continuity planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Property management or real estate industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement practical AI, automation, and process improvement opportunities that reduce repetitive work, improve operational efficiency, and support scalable growth across the organization.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify workflow inefficiencies, operational challenges, and opportunities for smarter, more streamlined processes.
  • Improve how the organization leverages existing systems, reporting, and operational data to support more informed decision-making and greater visibility across departments.
  • Lead innovation initiatives from concept through implementation, including opportunity assessment, pilot coordination, rollout planning, adoption support, and operational transition.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, vendor solutions, and strategic partnerships with a focus on practical application, operational fit, scalability, and measurable business value.
  • Support implementation and adoption efforts by working collaboratively with operational teams, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Establish clear success metrics and business impact measurements for innovation initiatives, including efficiency gains, operational improvements, adoption rates, and cost savings.
  • Develop practical documentation, workflows, standards, and best practices that support sustainable operational improvements and organizational scalability.
  • Present regular updates to executive leadership regarding initiative progress, operational impact, opportunities, and recommendations.
