Founded in 1990, Outright International strives to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer (LGBTIQ) people live safer, healthier, and more empowered lives worldwide. Working from its offices in 18 countries and global headquarters in New York City, Outright documents human rights violations, helps resource LGBTIQ movements and allies, and advocates for the rights of LGBTIQ people. Outright currently seeks a Director of Individual Giving who will lead and grow the organization's individual giving program at a pivotal moment in its development. Reporting to the Director of Development, this role will take ownership of day-to-day individual giving operations, manage key external and internal partnerships, and bring the strategic focus and operational discipline needed to scale revenue, deepen donor relationships through lead generation and acquisition, retention, stewardship, and upgrade, and support the Outright to pursue its most ambitious fundraising goals. While a New York City-based candidate is strongly preferred, applicants located elsewhere in the United States are welcome to apply. Salary is set by location to ensure equity; the range for the New York City metro area is $130,000-$145,000. Candidates based elsewhere in the U.S. are welcome to apply; salary for other locations will be determined accordingly.
